We believe in safeguarding your digital freedom.
Your privacy is not just a right, but a fortress we defend with every line of code.
It started with PGP.
Our journey began in 2011, when Geoff Green and Chantel Duplantie united on the mission to offer mobile privacy to the masses. With just $500, two used servers, and an air conditioner from Canadian Tire – they focused on providing Symantec-licensed PGP-encrypted email solutions and building a reseller network across Canada and Europe. In 2014, seeing the market shift, the owners pivoted to offer white label solutions on Android devices. Despite time zone differences, a DDoS attack, and industry rumors, Myntex persevered. By 2017, the owners witnessed the robust demand and rapid adoption of mobile privacy, along with the escalating concerns about digital surveillance, and the misuse of encryption by threat actors.
We created a bold new alternative.
Myntex anticipated that mobile threats would continue to increase in size, scope and severity and partnered with CDW to construct a cutting-edge private data center for their new Calgary office. A substantial investment was made on ballistic security measures and DDoS protection to fortify and enhance the data center’s resilience.
In 2017, Myntex developed its own encrypted communications solution, ChatMail®, a custom engineered product embodying Myntex’s philosophy that everyone has the right to privacy and a solution where users can maintain full control over their mobile lives.
We've devoted the last few years of our expertise to developing Renati, the world's most secure mobile operating system, exclusively designed to enhance ChatMail's resiliency against the most sophisticated of attacks. Renati also serves as our advanced mobile device management solution, ensuring top-tier security and functionality for a variety of business verticals.
We won’t stop innovating.
Myntex's commitment to continuous innovation is evident in our transparent and educational approach to challenging industry stigmas and reshaping perceptions amidst ongoing misinformation about encryption and cybersecurity measures. In line with this commitment, Myntex aligns itself as a partner and advocate for the National Cybersecurity Alliance, Global Encryption Coalition, Alberta IoT, Platform Calgary, and Cyber Alberta.
