ChatMail is a custom designed solution providing secure end-to end encrypted communications to address the growing concerns surrounding cyber security and espionage. It was built and designed from the ground up by our in-house team.
A users' experience should be simple, the more complex a platform becomes the easier it is for the user to make a mistake and compromise themselves. ChatMail’s design came from the need to improve your secure communications by providing the strongest encryption available.
ChatMail is the only secure platform in our industry to automatically identify both internal and external users. External users default to basic PGP encryption while internal users utilize Curve25519 with optional fallback to PGP encryption. Internal users also receive added features including encrypted voice, pictures, and self-destructing messages.

Perfect Forward Secrecy
Each message session with each contact is encrypted with a different set of keys. If any key is ever compromised, it will never result in the decryption of previously transmitted or future messages.
Optional PGP (Parsing Algorithm)
Our proprietary parsing algorithm transforms your encrypted PGP emails, removing unnecessary components like subject lines and email signatures — so they appear like a chat message.
Deniability
During a conversation the recipient is assured all messages received are authentic and unmodified thanks to our CAMP Protocol. This is a major improvement over PGP signatures where anyone who receives a PGP signed message can prove exactly who wrote it to anyone else.
Encrypted Backup & Restore
Fully encrypted backup of your notebook and contacts. Only you have access to the encrypted backup with the password you configured. Simple one step process and your contacts and notebook are restored with the password you configured.
Encryption Protocols
ChatMail provides an integrated end-to-end encrypted messaging protocol.
ChatMail instant messages are encrypted using our custom CAMP protocol; inspired by the world’s leading cryptographers. CAMP stands for "ChatMail Advanced Messaging and Parsing" Protocol. CAMP encompasses both our PGP and Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
Key Exchange utilizes the Double Ratchet Algorithm which combines the cryptographic ratchet based on the Diffie-Hellman key exchange and a ratchet based on the the key derivation function.
- DH Ratchet: Elliptic-curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) with Curve25519
- Message Authentication Codes: HMAC based on SHA256
- Symmetric Encryption: AES-256 in Counter Mode (CTR)
- Automatic verification is done with your public identity key
- ZRTP with Secure RTP and SAS
